Ms Falahat Batalvi – The CAP Podcast #88
Ms Falahat Batalvi was born in Lahore in 1933. In her conversation with The Citizens Archive of Pakistan, Ms. Batalvi described the joy of living in a lively multicultural, pre-partition Lahore where both Muslims and non-Muslims celebrated their festivals side-by-side. She spoke about tongas being the primary mode of transport for many people. She briefly talked about her school and of her experiences during the Partition.
