Mrs. Seameen Syed – The CAP Podcast #149
Mrs. Seameen Syed was born on 20th April 1932 in Nagpur, India. In this podcast, she talks about the situation in India once the 1947 riots began, there were Sikhs all over killing Muslims.
She speaks about the atrocities that people had to bear, she remembered seeing people with their limbs cut off and bleeding intensely. She recalled leaving India suddenly as they got a message saying they had two hours to leave; her family hurriedly collected whatever they could and left.
She was 15 years old at that time and recalled that her mother made her sit on the ground behind the seat because they were kidnapping young girls.
