Mrs. Nasreen Anjum Bhatti – The CAP Podcast #23
In conversation with the Citizens Archive of Pakistan, Mrs. Bhatti reminisces the golden era of radio which catered to all segments of the society and signifies how radio used to motivate the nation during the war of 1971. Mrs. Nasreen Anjum Bhatti spent her youth as a student activist before formally joining Radio Pakistan as a producer in 1971. She was central to the role radio played in broadcasting the war of 1971 and eventually became the controller for Radio Pakistan, Lahore Station. She retired from the institution as the senior radio producer but till date is closely associated with Radio Pakistan and sits in the Classical Music Research Cell at Lahore.
