Habib Fida Ali was born in Karachi in 1935. In his interview with The Citizens Archive of Pakistan, he talked about how clean and fresh Karachi's air was when he initially moved to the city with his family. He recalled memories of growing up without the need for a fan in his room during summer. He also talked about Karachi’s buildings and how it is a fairly younger city in comparison to Lahore.
