Mr. Aamir Sohail is one of Pakistan’s most renowned cricketers. He was a member of the 1992 World Cup –winning national team, an accomplished former Captain and one of the country’s premier bowlers during his career. In his conversation with the Lahore OHP team, Mr. Sohail recalls what drew him to play cricket. He then talks about a few highlights from his career leading up to the 1992 World Cup. Thereon, he focuses on the World Cup and speaks about the team’s initial struggles to gain footing in the tournament, the individual roles of the team members, the pressure he himself felt during an important match and of an important call that he made during the World Cup Final.
