Ms Khurshid Niazi – The CAP Podcast #72

Khurshid Niazi was born in Mianwali in 1922 and lived in Ambala at the time of the Partition. In her conversation with The Citizens Archive of Pakistan, Ms. Niazi spoke about her migration to Lahore and the extent to which women were involved in rallying for Pakistan. Ms. Niazi also reflected on the violence that immediately followed the Partition and recalled how unexpected it was.
