Anwar Kemal – The CAP Podcast #63

Anwar Kemal was born in Bhopal in 1943, and he migrated to Karachi along with his family from Junagadh in 1947. During his conversation with us, Mr. Kemal shared his memories from September 1948 when Quaid-e-Azam passed away. He recalled scenes of mourning at the Quaid’s funeral, and remembered crying profusely through the day. Even though he was six years old at the time, he innocently vowed to marry Fatima Jinnah in order to take care of her.
