Mushtaque Siddiqi – The CAP Podcast #129
Mushtaque Siddiqi, born in 1948 in India, lived in East Pakistan (later Bangladesh) until 1972, where he worked for Radio Pakistan. In this podcast, he talks about the situation in Khulna in 1971 and 1972, when he was asked to destroy Radio Pakistan’s transmission as part of Standard Operating Procedures after surrendering to India. He also gives an account of witnessing a Pakistani soldier being stoned in a street in Khulna, because of his refusal to surrender to India.
