Khalid Alam – The CAP Podcast #147

Mr. Khalid Alam was born on 26th April 1941 in Allahabad, India and migrated to Pakistan in early 1949. In this podcast, he speaks about his role as President of Pakistan’s National Student Union during which he met several political leaders including Ayub Khan and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. He explains his role as mediator between the government and students during the protests in Dhaka in the early 1960s. Mr. Alam currently resides in Karachi.
